The Process:

  • We Repair cracks, and water damage areas before painting if necessary.
  • The whole surface area needs to be dry and free from dust and cobwebs.
  • Clean/ dust gently with a soft broom or duster being careful not to dislodge any Vermiculite.
  • Mask up walls, windows, doorways for protection. We use double drop sheets on your carpet, timber flooring, or tiles to ensure that they are free of paint drops at all times during the painting process.
  • We apply two coats of special undercoat (Omega SurePrep 3 in 1 Acrylic Primer/Sealer/Undercoat) plus Two coats of ceiling white (further coats if necessary) to give your vermiculite ceilings a bright, white finish.
  • Due to using a four-coat paint system, the ceiling will end up having no pinholes.
  • Most companies spray two coats of paint from far just to make the ceiling white and if you look closely, you will notice lots and lots of pinholes which spiders and small insects could still nest in.
  • We provide a 10 years warranty on labour and materials (we believe no one in Sydney provides this offer).
